Introducing Luca Alexander

Luca Alexander

May 4, 2017 (no Star Wars jokes, please)

7 pounds, 13 ounces

21 inches

Luca was a scheduled C-section so this was a completely different experience than my first emergency section after 20 hours in labor with my daughter. I was still terrified but all went well. My doctor played The Beatles in the delivery room and told me tattoo jokes. And then, my baby boy came out and I cried. I’ll write more about the delivery in another post. But I had to get something up on my little man!

Navigating life as a wife, mommy of two babies (Genevieve-3, Luca-infant) and two rescued fur-babies (Lulu and Gracey), and full-time public relations maven. I got divorced in my 20s and wrote a book about it (, have Epstein Barr Virus/chronic fatigue syndrome/ Systemic Exertion Intolerance Disease, live in a renovated log cabin in NJ, can't cook, quit breastfeeding after four weeks and have no regrets, taught my daughter to say "tattoo" and recognize diamonds before she turned one, call soap operas as my guilty pleasure, and have a little rainbow baby boy who adores his sister.
